Welcome to the Esse Affiliate Program. These Terms of Use govern your participation and form a binding agreement between you (the “Affiliate”) and Esse Skincare (“Esse”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By applying to or participating in the program, you agree to abide by these terms.

Eligibility

Be at least 18 years old.

Operate a legitimate website, blog, or social media platform with content that aligns with Esse’s values.

Not promote or be associated with platforms that contain hate speech, nudity, violence, illegal activity, or misleading content.

Application & Approval

All affiliate applications are subject to review and approval by Esse.

We reserve the right to reject or revoke an affiliate application at any time, at our sole discretion, without obligation to disclose the reason.

Commission & Cookie Duration

Commission is paid as a percentage of qualifying sales (exclusive of VAT, shipping, and discounts).

Sales must be tracked via your unique affiliate link.

No commissions are paid on returned or cancelled orders.

Payment Terms – South Africa

  • Payments are made quarterly (January, April, July, October).
  • A minimum of R100 in accumulated commissions is required before payment is initiated.

Affiliates must supply:

  • A valid bank confirmation letter matching the name on the affiliate account.
  • An invoice made out to Esse Skincare South Africa, showing the bank details and the amount payable (as generated by the affiliate system).
  • The amount payable will reflect the earnings visible in your affiliate dashboard.

No payment will be made until the correct documentation has been received.

Affiliate Conduct

Accurately represent Esse’s products and values.

Avoid misleading claims or unapproved messaging.

Not run paid ads using “Esse”, “Esse Skincare”, or close variations.

Not impersonate Esse or offer unapproved discounts.

Avoid promoting on discount aggregator or coupon sites unless pre-approved.

Brand Guidelines

Do not modify product names or misrepresent formulations, benefits, or ingredients.

Maintain Esse’s tone: ethical, scientific, and transparent.

Prohibited Content

Affiliates may not post or promote on:

  • Websites or platforms that promote hate, violence, adult content, political agendas, or unverified health claims.
  • They may not use channels that violate any local laws or infringe on intellectual property rights.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time, for any reason, with written notice.

Commissions will not be paid on purchases made after termination.

Misconduct or breach of these terms may result in immediate termination and forfeiture of unpaid commissions.

Intellectual Property

All branding, content, and trademarks remain the sole property of Esse.

Affiliates may not register domain names, social media handles, or run ads using the Esse name or variations thereof.

Limitation of Liability

Esse shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including loss of revenue or data). Participation in the program is at your own risk.

Modification of Terms

Esse reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time. Affiliates will be notified of changes via email or their affiliate dashboard. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
